the history of human communication...
Back when iPads were only a dream in Steve Jobs's head, I waited in line at 6 in the morning with my dad so he could get a revolutionary device, the iPhone 1. My dad has always kept up with the newest technology. From the Apple 1 computer to the iPhone 6. That day with my dad was one of the first times I learned about new technology and that has helped form my love for technology.
My dad's didn't just influence devices he also introduced me to video games. While we didn't have a console to play on until two years ago, I played numerous games on a desktop, the most influential for my love of technology was a game called Spore. Spore was produced by EA and you created a species of creature and started out as an organism trying to survive and grow into a fully fledged animal. From there, more game modes arise. From being an animal you go to the tribal stage where you are still fairly primitive and you have to either ally or defeat all of the other tribes. The next mode, city mode is a more advanced version of that. Then space mode comes, you get a space ship and you get to colonize new worlds, declare war or set up a trade route of precious resources in exchange for others.
Without someone like my dad, I would have never turned into the technology loving person I am today. He keeps me updated with everything that is going on in the technology world.
Some people have been wary of new technology, but my dad has embraced it and influenced others to do the same.
