There is nothing that doesn't have an alternative way of doing it. Even things that have ways that are seemingly set in stone have other methods of completing them. When people find a different, albeit almost lazy way around things, I like to call that "Intelligently Lazy". What I mean by that phrase is you can be intelligent enough to find an easier, lazier way around things. If I had to pick one person in the world, whether they be real or fiction, to embody that phrase, I would chose Tom Sawyer without hesitation. He can think of the right thinks to say so quickly and so perfectly that he can convince many people to do his chores for him.
Being "Intelligently Lazy" can be very helpful and often times used for good. Just because its the lazier or not the way that you're supposed to do it, people generally frown upon being "Intelligently Lazy" Being "Intelligently Lazy" isn't a bad thing, though many people see it as one. It shows that you're smart enough to find an easier, usually quicker way through something. It can be used for bad or personal gain like how Tom uses it, but it can also be used for good.
