Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new
Without mistakes, none of us would be who we are today. Most of the mistakes I have made have changed me for the better. Mistakes are what make us human. Some of the greatest people have made mistakes that have helped them become even greater. I have made many mistakes over my lifetime that have changed me, one of them was at a summer camp in Colorado. I had signed up for a hiking trip during my time there and after a couple days I finally got to go on the trip. I had hastily packed my stuff for the trip and hopped in the van that would drive us 15 minutes to the staring point of the hike. This trip would take about 7 total hours, 3 hours up, resting at out destination for an hour, then another 3 hours back. After 15 minutes of the high altitude hike, I got very thirsty. I brought my backpack out in front of me and rummaged through it to find that quenching drink. After a few minutes of looking, I closed it up with a look of regret on face, saddened by forgetting that water bottle. The rest of that hike was like walking on hot coals with no air to breathe. The blasting summer sun paired with the mountain's low oxygen amounts was torture. That painful memory has taught me to always be prepared and double check you have everything you need. Mistakes can seem terrible when they happen, but in reality they have made you a better person. I have made hundreds of mistakes over my life and so has everyone else, but if you learn from your mistakes, that is how you can be your best self.
